Are you Underemployed?

-
We all know what is unemployment, let’s talk about underemployment today. Underemployment is a measure of employment and labour utilization in an economy, in simple words it is lack of paid work or work that makes full use of skills and abilities.

For example, an engineer working as a grocery delivery boy to meet his financial needs is underemployed as he may be able to earn a plausible amount but he is not able to utilize and improve his skills.

Underemployment is of two types. First, visible underemployment in which an individual works fewer hours than is necessary for full time job, the other one is invisible underemployment in which an adroit person is not earning as much as he should.

India has enormous population of dexterous individuals but the problems are lack of opportunities and absolute guidance, India is a developing nation and youth of India is doing wonders at the international platform, but then too why are we not improving significantly in Human Development Index? It simply acts as a kick in stomach for a nation with prodigious potential.

Psychological illness, alcohol abuse, relationship issues are some of the outcomes of underemployment in India. On a whole, we as youth need to think about it and opt for what is beneficial for the development of ourselves as well as for our nation, we must go for jobs where we think we can improve and give our best and that will eventually improve India’s position in Development Index and the GDP.

The sensibility of unemployment is overruled by the inadequate knowledge of opportunities and resources. People need to know that they have a lot of good platforms to enhance their skills, but they'll have to first overcome their inability to get aware about things.

Cryptocurrency

Cryptocurrency is a form of payment that can be exchanged online for goods and services. It works on Blockchain technology, which is a decentralized technology spread across many computers that manages and records transactions with the help of cryptography. Bitcoin, Ethereum and Dogecoin are some of the examples of cryptocurrency while WazirX is the largest cryptocurrency exchange in India.   The main purpose of the cryptocurrency is to fix the problems of traditional currencies by putting the power and responsibility in the currency holder’s hand. In India, it is currently booming, the market has been thriving and retail investors are adding fire with their zeal. As we know we are transforming into Digital India and cryptocurrency will definitely play a significant role in it, RBI is looking forward to develop its own digital currency and is working on it both technology side and procedural side as mentioned by governor Dr. Shaktikanta Das.   With the advantages suc...

Union Budget 2021

Hello readers! In this blog I will be sharing my views on Union Budget 2021, go ahead and do share your reviews.  Before starting I would like to describe what is Union Budget ? Union Budget of India also referred to as the Annual Financial Statement in article 112 of the constitution of India is the annual budget that the government of India presents on the first day of February to provide the estimated receipts and expenditures for the financial year.  This was the first time when a Union Budget was presented digitally via a tablet .  The government announced a 2.2 lac crore fund for the health sector although a huge capital will be spent on the Covid-19 vaccine, so this doesn't seem to be included in every year's budget. I liked the idea of bringing in a new scheme called PLI( Production Linked Incentive) which insinuates that there will be more startups and some more relaxation in tax when the products are exported and the best thing about the scheme is that the compa...
